Ksenia Zharko graduated from Moscow State Conservatoire in Opera and symphonic conducting (prof. Vassily Sinaisky).

She participated in Master classes held by Sir Colin Davis, Vladimir Fedoseev, Wolfgang Czeipek and James Judd. She is Third Prize Laureate of the II International Vakhtang Jordania Conducting Competition (Ukraine) and Diplomant and Special Audience Award of the First Emmerich Kalman International Conductors' Competition (Hungary). Conductor Fellow in State Academic Bolshoi Theatre (2004-2006). In present time she is: a Leading conductor in Moscow Comic Opera Theatre (from 2003), conductor Fellow in National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia (from 2005); conductor of Gosconcert state concert organization (from 2006), conductor of Chamber orchestra Globalis.

Conducted concerts with: National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, Kremlin, Musica Viva, Modern Music and Opera Theatre Orchestras of Moscow Conservatoire, and Symphony orchestras of Russian and Ukraine Philharmonics (Nizhniy Novgorod, Saratov, Yaroslavl, Sochi, Murmansk, Belgorod, Caucasus Mineral Waters, Kharkiv, Donezk, Tambov, Dnepropetrovsk), etc.

In March 2006 Ksenia conducted a concert of Russian music in India with Bombay Chamber Orchestra.

She also works with Dnepropetrovsk Opera Theatre and Karelia Philharmonic for Opera projects ("La Traviata" Verdi, "Orpheus" Gluck).
